Institute for Spam and Internet Public Policy The Email Deliverability Summit is a "by invitation only" meeting between leaders of the email receiving and email sending industries, the former being represented primarily by ISPs and spam filtering and tracking companies, and the latter by email service providers, online marketing bureaus, and email marketers.

The success of EDS has lead to the formation of a formal cross-industry working group, the Email Processing Industry Alliance, or "EPIA". A website is in development at http://www.epialliance.com.

ISIPP's Anne P. Mitchell, Esq. is the Chairperson of EPIA, Ian Oxman of Rapp Digital Innovyx and Steve Koenig of Yesmail are the email senders section co-Chairs, and Mark Herrick of Road Runner and Craig Hughes of SpamAssassin are the email receivers section co-chairs.

The next EPIA meeting is on Friday, January 23, 2004, in San Francisco.
