NATIONAL "SPAM AND THE LAW" CONFERENCE
"Spam and the Law: Law, Case Law, and Legislation"
January 22, 2004, San Francisco Westin Hotel at SFO
![]()
"With the passage of the new Federal Anti-Spam Law now,
more than ever, you need to attend this conference!"
Do you know the current state of the law regarding spam?
Do you know the laws under which you operate
when you send email?
Do you know your rights and obligations as a
receiver of email?
United States law, case law, and legislation regarding spam is nothing if not a
confusing hodge-podge of frequently incomprehensible, often ineffectual
attempts at achieving balance between senders and receivers of email.
The attorneys themselves often can't make heads nor tails of all of the different
state laws and case law operating in tension with each other, let alone
the average business person on whom they operate.
This must-attend conference is for anybody involved in the email sending
or email receiving industries, including email service bureaus, email
service providers, ISPs, and online marketing agencies. Attorneys who
attend are eligible to receive seven California MCLE credits.
ISIPP would like to thank the following sponsors for helping to make
this conference possible:
